Celebrating Independence Day with a Preventative Maintenance Service!
When we received the service call, it was clear that the driver of the 2026 Freightliner that was in a bit of a hurry. Even though it was the Fourth of July and a holiday, our technician responded to provide the preventative maintenance the truck needed before continuing its journey.
After picking up the service vehicle and contacting the customer with an estimated arrival time, the technician met the driver on site and received authorization to begin the work. Before performing any maintenance, a courtesy inspection was completed to check for potential issues. No concerns were found on this almost new vehicle with only 17,000 miles on it.
The technician gathered the required parts, including new engine oil, fuel filters, a fuel water separator filter, and an air filter. Once everything was on site, a complete lube, oil, and filter service was performed. The engine received fresh 15W-40 engine oil, the original fuel filters and air filter were replaced, and the truck was carefully inspected for leaks after the engine was restarted.
With the maintenance completed successfully and no additional issues found, the Freightliner was ready to continue its trip with confidence.
